Wes Stone

Bio

Coach Wes Stone enters his 6th season as head coach. Coach Stone has lead the team to the 2021, 2023 & 2025 State Championships since taking over the program. This will be Coach Stone’s 30th season overall coaching with 27 of those coming at South Pittsburg as both a middle school and high school coach. Coach Stone is a 1995 graduate of South Pittsburg High School where he was a starting offensive lineman on the 1994 state championship team. He was an assistant on the coaching staff of the 2007 & 2010 state championship teams, as well as the state runner up teams in 2009, 2011, 2013, & 2020. He received his degree in 2001 from UTC, Masters Degree from Cumberland University, and Ed.S in Administration & Supervision from LMU. Coach Stone and his wife Glenna have four sons, Jake (31), (wife-Katie, & granddaughters-Kollins & Ellison), Jared (24), Jace (20) and Jackson (15).
